1. Stock trading under the Start plan is commission-free. Mandatory regulatory fees (US SEC and FINRA) and exchange fees may still apply. The applicable fees and commissions are listed below.
2. When buying or selling stocks under a value-based fee plan, if the market price of a single share is below $1.50, the commission is calculated on a per-share basis — according to the Pro plan, $0.02 per share. For example, buying 1,000 shares at $1.00 per share results in a commission of: 1,000 × $0.02 = $20. A $2 minimum commission also applies. If the calculated commission is below $2, the minimum commission applies instead. For example, buying 10 shares at $1.00 per share would calculate to $0.20, but the actual commission charged will be $2 under the minimum rate.
